About
The mission of Bat Conservation International (BCI) is to conserve the world’s bats and their ecosystems to ensure a healthy planet. Since 1982, BCI’s passionate team of scientists, conservationists, and advocates has worked to prevent imminent bat species extinctions and restore ecosystems in key locations around the world, lead the scientific community in high-priority conservation research, and inspire audiences globally through direct experiences with bats and nature.
