My name is Khalid Abdullahi, and I currently work with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). I am actively supporting the implementation of the UN World Restoration Flagship Project focused on Small Island Developing States (SIDS). My role involves contributing to dissemination of Knowledge and Learning, coordination, and supporting delivery of project activities aimed at restoring ecosystems and building resilience across 3 SIDS Countries i.e Comoros, Vanuatu and Saint Lucia. I work closely with country teams and partners to ensure that restoration efforts align with the goals of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
