Our mission
Our work is concentrated in key areas of the Cordillera Azul National Park's buffer zone. In cooperation with local and indigenous communities, we've restored 150 hectares of the Peruvian Amazon to reestablish forest connectivity across the 3,000 ha park. Forest connectivity is critical to protecting biodiversity, including the endemic scarlet-banded barbet. Finally, the project turned many local community members into experts in ecological restoration, empowering them to utilize our model in future projects.
