Our mission

Our project, Embedding Integrated Water Resource Management (EWMR), is a holistically integrated program, founded on a community participatory-based approach. EWMR relies on participation of local communities at the village level across five sub-catchments of the Sebeya catchment. We are helping communities protect their water resources, reverse and prevent soil erosion, deforestation, and unsustainable agricultural and mining practices. These communities play a leading role in designing their own solutions, empowering them to improve both their livelihoods and resilience to climate shocks.
