Our mission

Our initiative in central Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo, recruits new farmers each year to participate in the restoration of degraded forests by planting fast-growing tree species and cash crops in agroforestry systems. Our interventions take a holistic approach. We conduct land surveys to help farmers select sites and assess planting options, provide seedlings, and assist in implementing, monitoring, and documenting their progress — as well as any challenges they face. We also work across value chains to ensure that farmers' sustainably harvested forest products reach the right markets.
