Our mission
By rooting the right tree in the right place, our efforts ensure that the seedlings planted today grow into the thriving, diverse forests of tomorrow. Through our 50 Million Tree Program (50 MTP), we have facilitated the planting of more than 34 million trees since 2008. The 50 MTP offers financial and technical assistance to property owners to increase forest cover in Ontario. Together with our network of seed, nursery, and planting partners and more than 5,000 landowners, we are increasing canopy cover, restoring forest connectivity in ecologically critical areas and fighting climate change.
