Our mission
Our initiative is restoring the iconic Lebanese cedars, symbols of longevity and strength, in Mount Lebanon, alongside Junipers and other native plant species. We work with biodiversity to bring life back by identifying the preferred plant species of key seed dispersers and ensuring their additional planting to facilitate natural regeneration. The site has already recovered a wide range of its endemic fauna and flora, with more than 40 species identified. We also use genetic diversity analysis methods to identify seedlings adapted to both current and anticipated future climate conditions.
