Our mission
We've mobilized over 110,000 farmers to collectively regenerate over 6.3 million trees on their farms using Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration, known locally as Kisiki Hai. With millions of local farmers dependent on agriculture for their livelihoods, we've also helped improve rainwater collection techniques. These interventions have helped the ecosystem retain 4 billion liters of water annually. Once our ground-level restoration ends, the LEAD Foundation and Justdiggit will enter a 17-year Sustainability Phase to help farmers maintain and continue to regreen Dodoma.
